Alumni-Student Center

Welcome to the Armand Hammer Alumni-Student Center! Modern, bright, and inviting, the Armand Hammer Alumni-Student Center has unified both the student body and the alumni. Nearly a year in the making, the Hammer Center finally opened for business February 1, 2013. Holding the largest television screen in the state of Oklahoma, students can watch their favorite shows while grabbing a bite to eat from Moe’s Southwest Grill and dessert from Jazzman’s Café & Bakery. But that’s not all the Hammer Center has to offer. The first floor is nothing less than immaculate. Game consoles including Wii(s) and Xbox(s), flat screen TVs, pool tables, chairs, arcade machines, couches, computers, a cozy fireplace, a living room to lounge around, several pieces of furniture to relax on, and a coffee machine make it possible for students to kick back and take a load off from their rigorous schedules.

The Hammer Center encompasses the concept “work hard, play hard” that provides many ways for students and alumni to gather together for a bit of playtime. It is the center for building community on the thriving ORU campus. There are Student Association offices in which the student council members meet to generate fresh ideas and events for the campus to partake in. Simply put, the first floor is amazing. But that’s still not all! The second floor is reserved for ORU alumni. They have the opportunity to meet in their offices and hold large meetings and banquets. The Armand Hammer Alumni-Student Center has been a major addition to the ORU campus. So whether you’re a student or alumnus of Oral Roberts University, we’ve got something for you!
