All Stars Basketball Game

The Margaret Hudson Program presents an All Stars Basketball Game at the Mabee Center, Saturday, June 17, 2017. The game will be held on Father’s Day weekend as a fundraising event for the Margaret Hudson Program. This family-friendly event promises to be a highly entertaining game and will feature Sam Perkins and Robert Horry as Honorary Coaches. An impressive roster of former NBA and college ball players will include Icons players Dale Ellis, Anthony Bowie, Kenny Thomas, Andre Owens, and Chianti Roberts and Legends players Wayne Simien, Tyrel Reed, Cedric Ceballos, Stephen Howard, and Gerald Brown. Special guest Joe King, a former professional football player and country music artist, will sing the national anthem. A heart-warming half-time presentation will highlight Margaret Hudson Program student achievements and the Ambassadors of Compassion camp for youth.

A free community health fair will be held in the Mabee Center (South Lobby CBC Entrance) from 9am to noon before the game. The entire family is invited to the health fair, which will feature blood pressure testing, health education booths, and children’s activities.

POST-GAME MEET THE STARS RECEPTION
All Stars sponsors and VIP ticket holders will be invited to attend a special meet-and-greet event immediately after the All Stars Basketball Game. The event will include a silent auction featuring basketball memorabilia from the All Stars coaches and player. Sponsors and VIP guests will also have photo opportunities with coaches and players. No autographs will be available during the reception.
